Warm-up with joint rotations for sinovial fluid
Alignment notes: all five toes on the floor; lengthen and lift through ribs, close ribcage and lower shoulders
Introduced first and second position
Barre: Plie: in first and 2nd, bend knees (keeping knees over toes) and straighten
Combination: 2 plies, rise to demi-point, lower and change position
Tendu: stretch the foot forward to a point, draw back into position
Combination: 2 tendus forward and close, tendu fwd, flex ankle, point toe, close
Repeat en croix (front, side, back, side)
Fondu: Plie on supporting leg as working leg comes to shin, open working leg to point on floor as supporting leg straightens. Repeat once en croix.
Releve: Facing barre in 1st position, plie, spring to demi-point, spring to plie.
Centre: Port de bras: Move through all five arm positions with variations: begin bras bas, first, second, low third, middle third, high third, fourth, fifth, second, demi-second, bras bas.
Traveling triplets: Moving across the floor stepping into plie on first count, on demi-point (ball of the foot) next two steps. (down, up, up). Alternates the plie step.
Balances: Triplet side to side: step to side (de cote) in plie, step to demi-point in back, step to plie in front (down up down). Arms can go side to side through middle third position.
Temps lie: Tendu front, plie while shifting weight through 4th position, ending with back foot pointed, plie while shifting weight back to a pointed front foot, shift weight fwd again. 4 count phrase. Brush back foot through on count 1 to repeat on opposite foot.
